Happy New Year!!!

I hope you all had a great time! I enjoyed the holidays very much with my family. Before Christmas I worked cleaning up the house, embroidering towels for selling and for friends. My younger daughter painted some wooden boxes as you can see. The theme is Alice in Wonderland. They were so beautiful!

This is my favourite time of the year because something magical hangs in the air. I'm very hopeful for a better new year. We also watched Christmas films, listened to music, but the most important thing was that my elder daughter got over!

So ends 2015, a year of challenges!Thank you so much to all of you for coming along with me in Peonies Bridge, who have read and commented giving me strength on my hard times! Wishing you a healthy, peaceful and happy new year!

VLT in Santos

VLT or Light Rail System will be a new means of transportation in Santos. There are 11 stations which radiate from Barreiros in São Vicente to termini at Valongo in Santos. That is good for environment because it has no pollution and noise. I don't know when it will be inaugurated yet, but people can have a free ride from Barreiros to canal 1 in Santos only. The traffic is terrible where the tracks are under construction.

I love Santos!

Hi Everyone! I have been knitting a lot here because the cold weather helps to do so. I'm finishing a scarf for my daughter and intend to make a cushion because I have a little yarn. As I cannot make crochet because my eyes hurt, I will knit it. I have some old jeans leg for making cushions. I love making cushions from old jeans. Maybe I can make a knitting lace for the jeans cushion. I think knitting is a magical work because we transform yarns into many things such as hats, socks, cushions, blankets, and so on. The person who invented it was a genius!
