After a procession through the streets of Santos, Pelé is buried on Tuesday afternoon, Janurary 3rd, at the Memorial Necropolis Ecumenical in Santos, in a private ceremony attended only by family and close friends.
The city stopped to pay their respects to the best football player in the world and there were people from all over the world and Brazil. It was a sad day.
Rest in peace Pelé.
