After weeks working hard I've started a new project, a baby knitting sweater to a friend. I love to give presents that I've made myself and this one is very special because is to the doctor who take cared of me some years ago. I take a bit long to finish it because my eyes hurt if I knit for too long.
So, I've started a baby sweater and you can see I have some knitting projects on Ravelry, but I don't know how to put it here.
This will take more than two months to finish . Here I go!
Wishing you all a great weekend!
The wool looks lovely and soft and I'm sure your special friend will be pleased with the gift for Baby. You will have to work at it slowly so that you don't strain your eyes. I've just started knitting again and I can only do a little before my wrists start to ache. I hope you can show us the jumper when it's finished.
ReplyDeleteThank you Linda!I only make this baby sweater to give to a friend's baby. You have to strain your wrists too! Sure, I'll show you step by step.I love to knit, but it is hot because we are in the summer, but the baby will be born in June and I'm slow.
ReplyDeleteWhat're you doing?
Hugs, Sandra xx
A June baby! That's lovely for your friend. You have plenty of time to knit the sweater. All the best!
DeleteIf I didn't have enough time I would be very nervous because I knit slowly. I also will make the booties. Have a nice weekend!

Glad you have started knitting again this new year. I know your eyes,it is easy to get tired. Do not rush and just enjoy knitting! I am sure your friend will be pleased with your handmade gift. I had a left eye operation last December. That made my eyesight clear. Have a good day,Sandra.
ReplyDeleteThank you Tomoko! I hope you are fine and I'm pleased that your vision has cleared!. I have been translating for my daughter and had to stop many times due to eye pain.

What a lovely gift it will be, the wool looks so soft. Do rest your eyes in between knitting sessions, hope you have plenty of time to complete it before the baby arrives:)
ReplyDeleteThank you Rosie! I love multicolour yarns and the baby is a boy! I knitted a little and stopped because my eyes sent me a message: time to stop!
DeleteHave a great weekend!
