I decided to finish all the hibernating works. I had the courage to start steaming the squares I started last year. The biggest problem is that i don't know how to match the colours. I have the same problem with the ribbons. So, if you can help me with this issue, please feel free to give ideas about it.
Wishing a great week to everybody!
This is the first beret I have done. It wasn't easy to knit it, but I finished after do and undo.
This is a gift for a friend.
My bed is this way, full of squares and no idea how to finish my small blanket.

Hi Sandra, I found you. After looking at your first post, I said to myself. Where is Santos? The gray and white mosaic sidewalks remind of Portugal, but you mentioned that it's cold, so I knew you were in the Southern Hemisphere. Portugal? Brazil? Then I looked up Santos, and sure enough - Brazil.
ReplyDeleteI'm happy to make your acquaintance. I left you a reply to your comment on my last post. I think you can just click on my name and to go there or www.teasandts.blogspot.com
I love your hats. Well done!
Welcome Patsy! I'm glad to see you here. Thank you for your nice words!
DeleteSantos is a city in the state of São Paulo, Brazil. We are in the winter in Brazil and 11°C is too cold for us since our summer temperature is about 45° C, which is really terrible.
I will see your reply there. Wishing you a great week.

Great job on the hats they look amazing.
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot Mamasmercantile! wishing you a great week!
DeleteGosh, we are having a heatwave here, hottest day of the year yesterday and predicted to be hotter today! Not a day for hats. I hope that you are staying warm though and enjoying your knitting!
ReplyDeleteThank you Amy! This is a perfect season to knit here. In the summer it is impossible to knit. We are in opposite weathers. Wishing you a great time and cooler breezes there!
DeleteBeautiful photos :-) worthy of being in a magazine.
ReplyDeleteThe little wind chime on your blog kept making me glance outside my window lol.... I couldn't figure out where it was coming from!
Thank you Cheryl! I'm glad you liked my blog! The wind chime bell is relaxing and I like to know that you thought the bells came from outside...lol
DeleteI also liked your blig and i saw that we have lits in common such as embroidery (I like vagonite), buttons ( I cannot go to a shop to buy buttons because I buy many more that I need). I love knitting very much and I don't crochet because my eyes hurt.
I hope I can see you more times!

Both your knited hats are wonderful and it is good that you are getting all your projects completed whilst you are having cold weather. It is hard to imagine as it is so hot here at the moment:)
ReplyDeleteThank you Rosie! Today I've started joining the squares forba small blanket. It's impossible to knitin the summer. Wishing you a great week. Sandra xx
DeleteI liked seeing photos of your home town, Sandra, and of your makes. My own unfinished pile is out of control. Big sigh.
