I enjoy going to the Street Markets

Street market in full swing in Santos. I love going there, but this time I was in the  Light Rail Vehicle. The vegetables and the fruits are beautiful there.

I want to make a pepper preserve with these peppers. Does someone know their names? Thank you.

  1. Hello Sandra. Thank you for visiting my blog and leaving a comment. Streets markets are
good places to visit as there is usually fresh food at cheaper prices than in the supermarket. I'm sorry that I don't know what type of pepper you bought. They could be hot chili peppers or sweet peppers. We usually dry the chili peppers, but roast the sweet ones. You can preserve the sweet peppers in olive oil. Put them in boiling water to take off the skin, slice and then put in a jar, cover with olive oil and put on an air tight lid. All the best.

    2. Dear Sandra, thank you for your visit to my blog today. We have been gathering our home grown tomatoes. We preserve them by taking off the skins after pouring hot water over them before cooking them and then putting in glass jars that create an airtight vaccuum by using a lid that seals up well. We don't use olive oil to preserve fresh tomatoes. You can also dry tomatoes and peppers in the sun for later use. Wishing you a peaceful week.
